Business Development Publisher Specialist, North (Delhi, India)

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of publishers to use Affinity’s suite of display monetization products
  • Identifying potential revenue opportunities, upselling and cross-selling products to meet regional revenue goals and helping publisher partners monetize their ad inventory globally with valuable account optimization recommendations, competitive insights, and performance-driven strategies.
  • Execute business development plans for global markets
  • Developing business proposals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest buzz and trends in the industry
  • Develop sales strategies and establish action plan (lead list, timelines, approach, etc) to achieve mutually acceptable targets
  • Hand hold the client through the setup phase
  • Interact with multiple teams on product, technology, ad sales, to ensure your publisher requirements are heard
  • Taking on supply side manager role to build long-lasting publisher partnerships to cater our programmatic brand advertisers across display, video and mobile web platforms
  • Maintain client relations independently along with effectively optimizing traffic and recommending improvements
  • The Publisher Development role involves identifying revenue growth opportunities, inventory acquisition, coming up with creative solutions for pricing models and contract structure, negotiating terms with publishers, and developing deeper partnerships with publishers through relationship building.
  • Manage a portfolio of publisher accounts, monitoring their overall traffic, identifying opportunities for growth and areas of risk, and troubleshooting problems that may arise.
  • Work closely with publisher contacts to increase volume where profitable for the company. Negotiate long-term contracts to lock up inventory sources.
  • Work with advertiser delivery team to understand demand side of the market and react to network trends.

Required Skills

  • 4 to 6 years relevant experience in online advertising industry
  • Managed/Handled direct key ComScore and Alexa top 200 publisher accounts portfolio across different content verticals and media channels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales capabilities
  • Should be able to do business with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Driven, self-motivated, with an inclination towards learning and grasping new concepts
  • Should be a great team player and motivator
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with sharp analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Should have an eye for detail & passion for perfection – you won't let crap get by you
  • Persuasive
