Business Publisher Specialist (Mumbai) (, a global contextual Ad Network, is seeking a talented, highly motivated and dependable individual who has the ability to win business for our range of display ad products from local and global original content publishers. This position calls for a person with strong communication and networking skills, an aggressive sales drive, above average intelligence and emotional quotient, strong negotiation skills, ability to work with sales targets and in-the-know of latest industry trends. The role is based in Mumbai and includes frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.


  • Acquisition of publishers to use Affinity’s suite of display monetization products
  • Identifying potential revenue opportunities, upselling and cross-selling products to meet regional revenue goals and helping publisher partners monetize their ad inventory globally with valuable account optimization recommendations, competitive insights, and performance-driven strategies.
  • Execute business development plans for global markets
  • Developing business proposals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest buzz and trends in the industry
  • Develop sales strategies and establish action plan (lead list, timelines, approach, etc) to achieve mutually acceptable targets
  • Hand hold the client through the setup phase
  • Interact with multiple teams on product, technology, ad sales, to ensure your publisher requirements are heard

Required Skills

  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in online advertising industry
  • Managed/Handled direct key ComScore and Alexa top 200 publisher accounts portfolio across different content verticals and media channels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales capabilities
  • Should be able to do business with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Driven, self-motivated, with an inclination towards learning and grasping new concepts
  • Should be a great team player and motivator
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with sharp analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Should have an eye for detail & passion for perfection – you won't let crap get by you
